Currently, I am in San Francisco for a little bit under a week for a social media conference, Social Media Strategies Summit! I am here for work meaning I don’t have a tonnnn of time to explore, but I’ve tried to make the most of what little free time I have and see the city!
My first day here I was awestruck by the city and THOSE HILLS. Seriously, I have never had my calves hurt so bad as when I decided to walk to the mall!! I just can’t believe how steep they are. This is my first time in California and just about every single aspect of it was shocking to me. Like how it could be this warm in February. It was 2 degrees when I left Missouri! And it is 70 degrees in San Francisco, which led me to the realization that I packed way too many sweaters.
I’ve spent my days at the conference, learning new tips and tricks for social media that I can’t wait to share with you! In the evenings I explored the city a little bit. I checked out Fisherman’s Wharf
And went into the arcade museum that they go to in The Princess Diaries! I even found the same arm wrestling game that they played!
So that was SUPER cool!
I made sure to get dinner from Chinatown one night and to try In-N-Out burger for the first time as well (not as good as Five Guys!!). I didn’t get too many awesome pictures from this trip, so I have significantly less to share. Traveling alone means that you either need to bug someone to take your picture, take a selfie, or not be in any of your travel pics whatsoever. I think I’m investing in a selfie stick for my next trip!
