I am a complete sucker when it comes to Lilly Pulitzer. I am very seriously obsessed with all the prints (my favorite is You Gotta Regatta). I have Lilly dresses, Lilly pants, a Lilly planner, Lilly jewelry, Lilly bedding, and the list still goes on. There is nothing about that brand that I don’t love. I love the way wearing Lilly makes me feel. I am instantly the brightest person in the room and nothing feels better than that.
To take my Lilly love to the next level, as if Lilly bedding hadn’t already done that for me, I own the Lilly Pulitzer bar cart.
Now let me just provide you with a little bit of a disclaimer, I didn’t actually buy the Lilly Pulitzer bar cart. I fell in love with the idea of owning a bar cart a few years ago and so my parents bought me one as a 21st birthday gift. Fast forward a year and what do I see in the Lilly catalogue? MY BAR CART.
Literally, I am not being dramatic… It is the same bar cart I already own. The universe aligned to give me everything I needed but hadn’t even thought to ask for. The universe gave me the Lilly Pulitzer bar cart. Sadly, I don’t have the same Lilly accessories that they obviously used to decorate their bar cart. Ever more sadly (not sure if more sadly is a thing but just roll with it), a Lilly Pulitzer themed bar cart doesn’t match my décor anymore.
So, naturally, I had to make it my own.
Right now, my décor is a little on the dark side. My living room is greys, browns, and metallics and I am obsessed. It’s a very good fall color palette that so far has been hard to mess up. When I had my Lilly Pulitzer themed bedroom, I felt like I was constantly trying to make everything perfect. Matching hot pinks and bright blues can be a lot harder than just throwing together a bunch of neutrals!! So, when I received a free brown couch, I just decided brown was my new theme and let it take over.
It has become one of my favorite pieces of furniture mainly because it is so completely versatile. I can change it to match any décor I decide to use and I love that about it. Currently, it is filled mostly with booze, books, and plants and it fits perfectly in my little window area of my living room.
Here is a pic of my bar cart right now!!
Cheers to that!
Always Classy & Confused,
