As many of you may already know, I recently moved to Kansas City. I graduated college in May, got my big girl job in June, and packed up my bags for KCMO in August. (It was a crazy summer.) Since moving, life has been a whirlwind of unpacking, working, and decorating. In my free time I have tried to explore the city as much as possible, but that has mainly stayed towards the exploration of new restaurants and shopping centers. Kansas City has been amazing and fun so far, but it didn’t really start to feel like home until today.
Today, I received my library card. Which maybe doesn’t seem like a big deal, but not just anyone can get a library card somewhere… See, you have to live somewhere before they trust you with their books. Meaning, you have to provide a piece of mail with your Kansas City address to be given a card. And luckily for me, I just had my first piece of mail.
So, watch out Kansas City! I am here to stay! I am armed with my library card and I am ready to read whatever you throw at me! Starting with this aesthetically pleasing book.
Always classy & confused,
